Monocultures

 The Greens ( cf small greens like u) think they invented the appreciation of diversity and respect for it.  They don't live long in the country to see that long term rural land custodians actually learn and KNOW how important and highly complex it is to all living systems. 
Farmers and their children learn about mutuality, cooperation, competition and dependance and marginal rewards and sharing. from infancy.
Those who live too long in cities( or still cling to a drip feed from the city ) are likely to see only or two sides of the grand design.
Is it any wonder that so many in cities think life is all about competition, that monocultural blindness s that drives people to be the richest people in the cemetery. and to relentlessly chase high margins -It is the economy stupid that makes the city rich and the country poor.
Small margins is life for us in the country and we are the ones who love it !
